What do you hope the Compton Initiative will accomplish? “My hope is that the Compton Initiative will leave a mark so deep that the reputation that plagued the City of Compton for decades will be forgotten.”
What is your favorite thing about a Compton work day? “My favorite thing about a Compton work day is to participate in world relief by serving in a city right next door to me. I don’t have to travel globally to help.”
How has the Compton Initiative helped you grow? “The Compton Initiative has helped me realize that the mission God has called us to doesn’t require those in need to join us. A homeowner may help us paint his house or not, and either way, it’s okay. We are there to serve.”
